In the aftermath of the Great Recession of 2008–2009, times have been very difficult for some in the financial industry. Many small- to medium-sized Broker/Dealers have shrunk, been purchased, or simply disappeared altogether. Despite this difficult operating environment, SG Long & Company has continued to grow.
Although elsewhere investors have grown frustrated with the instability within some of the largest financial institutions, SG Long & Company’s stable focus on long-lasting client relationships continues to serve us well. The fact that we are not simply a business unit buried within a larger monolith of an institution allows us to focus on what we do best — establishing client relationships that persevere through a variety of economic and market environments. We continue to expand, our name hasn’t changed and our financial advisors deliver the same high level of service and expertise they have since 1986.
